On this edition of the weekly buff we have a beautiful black Tundra TRD PRO that came in for paint correction, ceramic coating, and ppf to protect it for years to come from anything the weather may throw at the driver. As seen in the video you can see that the paint wasn’t in great condition but nothing we couldn’t handle and take care of. The first step as always is a full decontamination wash to remove anything abrasive from the finish with our EVO shampoo, fresh wash mits, mild claybar to ensure that when we begin paint correction nothing adds more damage.
We used our EVO 800 Heavy Cut polish to remove heavy imperfection with a wool pad then used our EVO 3000 Finishing and foam pads to remove any marring left from the heavy cutting step. Once that was done the crew began the ppf install with the hood, fenders, moved on to the bumper, and finally headlights and mirrors to protect it before they head off road again.
We applied one last protection layer using our EVO PRO Graphene to give the ppf an additional layer of protection and prevent staining on the vehicle from bird droppings, water spots, bug stains etc.
Once the customer saw it they couldnt believe it was their same truck they loved the outcome and the color choice they made. if youd like your vehicle to be our next weekly buff schedule with us at GIDETAIL.COM
